O grande evento da indústria audiovisual, Emmy Awards 2022, ocorre nesta segunda-feira (12), em Los Angeles, nos Estado Unidos. A apresentação ficará por conta e Kenan Thompson, apresentador do Saturday Night Live e este ano será em plena segunda-feira devido o início da temporada da NFL, liga de futebol ter ocorrido no último domingo (11).
E quem lidera o número de indicações é a série Succession, da HBO, que recebeu 25 indicações. Com 3 temporadas no ar, a produção foi lançada em 2018 e a trama aborda a história da poderosa família Roy.
Em segundo lugar tem a série da Apple TV+, Ted Lasso, com 20 indicações. A produção estreou em 2020 e conta com duas temporadas. Em terceiro lugar está The White Lotus, também da HBO com 20 indicações. A série estreou no ano passado, com uma temporada no ar, e a próxima estreará em outubro.

Only Murders in the Building recebeu 17 indicações, enquanto a série Euphoria ficou com 16 e, em seguida, Stranger Things com 13 indicações. A série sul-coreana Round 6, é a primeira produção em língua não inglesa na categoria drama.
Entre as indicações do atores Jason Sudeikis sai na frente por Ted Lasso, em seguida Zendaya, por sua atuação em Euphoria.
A HBO é o canal em 1º lugar este ano, com 140 votos, e a Netflix sai em 2º lugar com 105 indicações.
